The ensemble evolved from the former Serafin String Quartet and continues the nearly two-decade-long Serafin legacy of passionate commitment to presenting exceptional performances of small ensemble repertoire. Serafin Ensemble roster artists are devoted to collaborative chamber music performance as an important aspect of their professional lives. They are bound together by mutual respect and camaraderie, and a shared passion for small ensemble repertoire and the collaborative process. The goal of the ensemble is to prepare and share with audiences, performances of great masterworks and lesser-known works for an unconducted ensemble of two to eight players. Occasionally, larger works or solo works are also included in the programming. The individual roster artists of Serafin Ensemble have been heralded around the globe for concerts and recordings, acclaimed in the press, and received international prizes and awards. Hailed for “silken finesse and gritty vibrancy” by Gramophone Magazine and for “playing with style and sophistication” by The Strad Magazine, Serafin String Quartet debuted at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in 2004 and returned to Weill Recital Hall most recently in 2016 for a program that included New York premieres of two works by composer Julia Adolphe. Featured by Strings Magazine for innovation in concert programming, the Quartet consistently received superlatives in the press and ovations from audiences around the nation. Serafin Quartet served for nine years as Quartet in Residence at the University of Delaware and performed in the UK, as well as in fifteen states across the US, with their primary performance region being the mid-Atlantic and northeast. Serafin Ensemble takes its name from master violin maker, Sanctus Serafin, who in 1728 crafted the violin currently played by Serafin founder and Artistic Director, Kate Ransom. The Serafin String Quartet thrived for over two decades thanks, in part, to generous support from Dr. William J. Stegeman, Ph.D.

From Jim Morrison’s leather outfits all the way down to the color of the microphone cable, The Ultimate Doors leaves no stone unturned in bringing an authentic Doors tribute show to the stage. Front and center, taking on the role of Jim Morrison is Nash Stover. Nash doesn’t take his job of being Jim lightly. He studies Jim daily. From Jim’s vocals and stage persona, to every detail of Jim’s ever-changing fashion sense. Jim Morrison was a complex man and Nash deeply respects every part of Jim’s legacy which shows true night after night on stage. On the Gibson SG and playing the role of Robby Krieger is Todd Huffman. Todd has been a Doors fan his entire life and has always considered Robby Krieger to be the most underrated guitar player of all time. Todd puts in countless hours not only practicing Robby’s guitar licks, but also keeping every detail of Robby’s rig fine tuned. Robby Krieger is a hard role to play, but Todd nails it. It takes a man with two brains to pull off playing the part of Ray Manzarek. Manning the Gibson G-101 organ while keeping the low end going on the Fender Rhodes piano bass is Nate Shaw. Maintaining the thumping bass with his left hand and the snarling organ with his right, Nate really appreciates every ounce of talent that Ray Manzarek had. On the Mod Orange Ludwig Downbeat kit, taking on the role of John Densmore is Jordyn Huffman. Jordyn learned to play drums to Doors albums when he was a teenager and has considered John Densmore to be the best drummer of all time ever since. John’s style on and off the drums was unlike that of any other and Jordyn loves that challenge.

Every Friday and Saturday night, in the basement of O’Flaherty’s Ale House on Manhattan’s Restaurant Row, Brad and a small group of piano players faced off on two Casio Celviano keyboards for a four-hour singalong with an audience that grew from 10 to far beyond legal capacity. From there the show moved through several incarnations and locales over the course of a decade, from Times Square to Virginia Beach, and eventually landed at Bar Nine in NYC, where Brad and fellow performer James Barr formed THE FLYING IVORIES.With a rotating roster of top performers from around the country, THE FLYING IVORIES deliver an all-request, rock and roll sing-along for weddings, fundraisers, company outings, holidays, birthdays, bachelorette parties, virtual events and more.

Through its evolution, the band has been carefully constructed to create the essence of the Clapton sound, from his guitar arrangements to his distinctive vocal sound. This is what separates The Bell Bottom Blues from all others and makes us unique in the market. We have been told time and time again by our audiences and fans that “they close their eyes during a show and could swear that they were actually at a Clapton concert”. This is what we actually set out to achieve. Through each band member’s dedication, professionalism, and hard work, we have captured the sound and essence of the master himself through his various stages, from Cream, the Dominoes, and through his entire solo career. Our EC has captured his guitar styling and, more importantly, his exact vocal sound, which allows us to truly pay tribute to this rock and blues icon. Once again, our goal is to perform and allow our audiences to really feel like they are participating in an actual EC live event. There is no better satisfaction for us than seeing this actually occur and knowing we have achieved our goal. As an accomplished singer who had already had success of her own with the world-renowned Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Jennifer recognized and admired the many various vocal techniques Adele has in her vocal toolbox, giving each lyric its own color and texture.
