 Position: Assistant Stage Manager 

Get ready for a fun, creative, and rewarding role where no two days are the same! As an Assistant Stage Manager, you’ll work alongside a talented team to bring this extraordinary production to life. You’ll be in the heart of the action, managing the backstage magic while ensuring everything runs smoothly during rehearsals and performances.

 Your Responsibilities:

  • Be the backbone of the production – coordinate with the Stage Manager to ensure everything from lighting to props is ready to go!

  • Lead backstage operations – manage the crew, relay cues, and keep everything running like clockwork.

  • Keep things on track – help with rehearsals, ensure props and cues are in place, and communicate critical info to cast and crew.

  • Ensure a smooth experience for everyone – maintain discipline, communicate schedules, and help out wherever needed!

The Milton Theatre is seeking a detail-oriented and hospitality-driven individual to help maintain our venue and various housing to create a welcoming environment for all visitors. This role goes beyond cleaning—it ensures our theatre and artist housing are pristine, comfortable, and inspiring spaces for performers and audiences alike.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily cleaning and upkeep of the theatre, including lobby, restrooms, dressing rooms, backstage areas, stage, and audience areas.
  • Prepare artist dressing rooms with necessary amenities to ensure a welcoming experience.
  • Oversee the cleanliness and organization of artist housing, ensuring it is well-stocked, tidy, and inviting.
  • Ensure all areas of the theatre and artist housing are clean, presentable, and ready for guests.
  • Provide hospitality support for visiting artists, helping them feel at home in both the theatre and housing accommodations.
  • Follow safety and sanitation procedures to maintain high facility standards.

 

A1 Sound Engineer – Milton Theatre

📍 Location: Milton Theatre, Milton, DE
💼 Position: Full-Time/Part-Time (20-25 hours per week)

🕒 Schedule: Nights & weekends required

Responsibilities:

  • Lead all aspects of audio engineering for live performances
  • Operate and mix FOH (Front of House) and monitor sound
  • Set up, test, and maintain audio equipment
  • Work with performers, directors, and production teams to achieve the best possible sound quality
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure seamless show execution
  • Assist with load-in/load-out and stage setup as needed
  • Communicate show advances with artists and managers 

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of digital and analog audio consoles
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues 
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and flexible hours

Costume Designer – Project Based

  • Bring the characters to life through your creative vision and expertise in costume design.
  • Work closely with directors, producers, and other members of the production team to understand the overall vision and goals of the performance.
  • Develop a cohesive design concept that complements the production’s visual style and storytelling.
  • Source materials, fabrics, and accessories while adhering to budget constraints.
  • Conduct fittings with actors to ensure proper fit, comfort, and functionality of costumes. Make necessary adjustments and alterations to achieve the desired look.
  • Resolve any issues that arise with the costumes during the production process, ensuring seamless integration of costumes into the overall production.
