Join the Creative Team at the Milton Theatre!

Are you a storyteller at heart with a camera in hand and an eye for great content? The Milton Theatre is looking for a Content Creator to capture the energy, talent, and heart of our stage — and share it with the world.

This isn’t your average 9-to-5. You’ll have a front-row seat to incredible live events, working alongside musicians, actors, and creative professionals to bring our theatre’s story to life through engaging content for our social media channels, website, and digital campaigns.

What You’ll Do

  • Create compelling, visually engaging content that tells the story of the Milton Theatre and its vibrant community.

  • Conceptualize, shoot, and edit photo and video projects that highlight our events, artists, and behind-the-scenes moments.

  • Develop fresh ideas and creative campaigns that connect with our audiences and grow our digital presence.

  • Manage your own projects from concept to completion — from brainstorming to posting.

  • Work independently while collaborating closely with our marketing and production teams.

  • Capture and edit content in real time during live performances and special events.

  • Maintain a consistent, polished, and professional brand image across all platforms.

 What We’re Looking For

  • A creative, self-motivated storyteller with strong visual instincts.

  • Proficiency in photography, videography, and editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Lightroom, or similar).

  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

  • A passion for live performance, music, theatre, and community arts.

  • Keen attention to detail and a love for capturing authentic moments.

This is your chance to be part of something special — to tell the stories that make the Milton Theatre a beloved hub of creativity and performance.

Hours vary by project and schedule.
Send your resume and samples of your work to [email protected] for consideration.

Join the Backstage Magic at the Milton Theatre!

Have you ever wondered what it takes to bring a Broadway-caliber production to life? From the moment the curtain rises to the final bow, our Assistant Stage Managers (ASMs) are the heartbeat of the show — and now we’re looking for YOU to join our Mainstage team!

The Milton Theatre has brought you unforgettable productions like West Side Story, The Wizard of Oz, The Sound of Music, and Legally Blonde — and we’re not slowing down!

As an ASM, you’ll go beyond ushering to experience the full journey of a show:

  • Be part of rehearsals and see the creative process unfold.

  • Help coordinate props, costumes, and set changes during performances.

  • Work alongside our incredible cast, crew, and creative team to make the magic happen.

No prior stage management experience? No problem! We’ll provide the training and support you need — all you need to bring is enthusiasm, reliability, an eye for details, and a willingness to learn.

This is a contract stipend position — we are especially looking for local candidates who can commit to production schedules at the Milton Theatre.

Interested? Send your resume to [email protected] and tell us you’d like to join the ASM roster!
