It is a dramatic comedy that combines a family story, a love story, good dialogue, great parts, all with good writing. Set in Pennsylvania, not far from a place called Beertown. "Moon Over the Brewery" is funny, yet poignant. The play sheds light on the secret world of Amanda, a 13 year-old girl who has a high IQ, an imaginary friend, and a single mom. Growing up without a dad hasn't been easy for Amanda. Now, she is forced to deal with the unexpected appearance of mom's new boyfriend.
